City & Guilds endorse Learning Assistant
The endorsement approves the use of Learning Assistant for any City & Guilds Centre wishing to adopt the system, throughout the UK and internationally.
"Learning Assistant supports a candidate-lead approach to learning and makes good use of the expertise of Assessors. Ideal for Vocational areas where the storing of electronic data is integral to the function i.e. Management, Admin & IT. The structure of the application and its interface should feel intuitive to anyone who is familiar with vocational qualifications. Learning Assistant is publicly supported by OCR
OCR's support for Learning Assistant comes after a rigorous evaluation process, whereby a specialist team of OCR Verifiers tested the suitability of Learning Assistant for OCR Centres and Learners.
"OCR's range of National Vocational Qualifications (NVQs) are ideal for delivery through Learning Assistant. It gives Candidates the opportunity and flexibility to store electronic evidence types as well as standard text files. Learning Assistant is an e-portfolio product that successfully meets OCR's requirements. It's easy to use and suitable for OCR's NVQs in all subject areas."
Learning Assistant approved by Edexcel
Learning Assistant has been awarded approval status from the awarding body Edexcel for the delivery of vocational qualifications.
"Edexcel has evaluated the Learning Assistant NVQ e-portfolio software against the Edexcel minimum requirements for e-portfolio products, and Edexcel confirms that it meets these requirements. Edexcel approves the use of Learning Assistant as a means of portfolio development and management for Edexcel NVQs."
SQA (Scottish Qualification Authority) endorse Learning Assistant
Learning Assistant has successfully passed SQA's stringent endorsement selection and evaluation processes and is currently the only e-portfolio approved by SQA.
