Over the last eight years, Learning Assistant has gained endorsement from all the leading Awarding Bodies (City & Guilds, OCR, EDI, Edexcel, SQA etc). This flexibility has allowed us to meet the changing needs of our customers. We have worked hard to ensure our e-portfolio is flexible enough to support any type of vocational course – irrespective of Awarding Body.
Learning Assistant has been acquired by City and Guilds
Recently we have been in discussions with one particular Awarding Body with a view to developing a new set of tools and features for our customers. As such, I'm delighted to announce that…
Learning Assistant has been acquired by City & Guilds
Before I explain why I believe this decision is the way forward, let me assure all our customers that although we are now part of the City & Guilds Group, Learning Assistant will continue to support any award (by any Awarding Body) that you want to deliver. Giving our customers the freedom to use Learning Assistant the way they choose is at the core of everything we do.
So why did we decide to join City & Guilds? The answer is very simple; the leading e-portfolio provider has joined forces with the UK’s leading Awarding Body. Our two organisations can now work together to deliver a broader range of products and much greater value for our customers.
But this decision goes way beyond the obvious advantages of integrating systems and content to deliver a better solution and price. The decision is born out of a shared vision between our two organisations, where we aim to make the learning journey as easy and accessible to as many Learners as possible in the UK and throughout the world.
I believe that we are at a pivotal moment in the development of the vocational qualifications market. Advances in technologies and changing Learner expectations demand that we take bold steps to ensure that we provide the right solutions for our customers.
We are very excited about the possibilities this new partnership brings and I look forward to sharing our ideas with you as they develop over the next few weeks and months.
Yours sincerely,
Bryan Mathers
